Starbound. Terraria in space, it's going to OWN your face. A lot of the Steam green light games are going to rock as well.

I'm really hoping that both will be amazing. There can never be enough of the sandbox genre.

I'm excited about the new game "Repopulation". They finished a kickstarter and seem to be working quickly on the development. I usually don't get my hopes up for a game until it hits beta (because SO MANY good ideas disappear before they become a game) but I think this one has the momentum to finish.

It's not perma-death but you can go pure crafter without having to worry about developing combat skills or relying on those who do.

looking at the feature list it seems they are biting off a bit more than they can chew, but if they can pull it off, more power to them. Also: Reminds me a bit too much of Project Entropia....

Wow, that game looks intense... I was looking at all the features and things available already and wondering how its so indepth... then realized its had 4+ years of development already.

Now that game looks interesting !

And btw, the game in the OP is supposed to be a new take on Dungeon Keeper but in space, well that's what they said when they started the Kickstarter anyway =p
