Isn't it like there noone left playing? Even when I was playing the server population decreased dramatically.

goes up and down, was at like 20 peak time for a bit, at which point chewie was still griefing noobs off the server.
The expansion "ruins of kunark" was released pop went up to 100+ for a few weeks, Guild wars 2 came out it went down.. back up again now though.
