Surely Jorb/Loftar can make a kickstarter, and we could raise money for new server/coding/whatever the problem is...?

They wouldn't do a kickstarter until they'd have time to work on it

I haven't logged into the game in a while, but I remember last time I was around I did see more bears than people...and I've always had trouble finding enough bears

I battle lags everyday. Something truly a the most hardened of hardcore sols only can handle. The weak have perished but the rest of us go on. I fear though most of us wont handle the coming winter and it might become a struggle at the coming summer with so few of us left.

Can't you be at least bothered to find out what the actual problem is before you suggest an idea like that? It's not MONEY! It's not a lack of them caring. It's a matter of time and the equipment is not available yet to fix the problem. They have jobs. Which is Salem. This, Haven and Hearth, is a hobby. Something they did in their free-time. They didn't make this in the interest of making it a globally, household game. They won't sell it, they won't give away anything in it, I believe that there was a time when they didn't even like the usage of custom clients.

I just began recently, but I've had the patience to fight through it.
This is granted that if you're someone used to games lagging on your computer, you get used to any game lagging and don't mind it much.
Plus the lag does give a few seconds to look away or take a sip of a drink when doing tasks.

thl problem here isnt the fact that they don't have the time to develop, or fix the issues, its that registration to play the game is still available. im sorry, but to almost any "non insane" player this lag is simply unplayable. im brand new, and on at 3 am eastern time, and there are less than 100 players total ingame and its every 4-5 seconds i sit for 10 more waiting on the lag spike to pass. and its sad because the game, is VERY promising, and they could be making money off it. granted thats not their goal. but its still true, even as an indie game or something. maybe they should open the doors and get some help? let some willing devs join in to assist in these times of lack of time? i don't know, but again its rather sad, i watched a few lets plays on this before attempting to play it, and was EXTREMELY excited about it, just to get in and realize its simply unplayable with the current lag. granted some of you, "hard core" players who have invested so much time in it are willing to bear through it, but as a new player, i would rather invest my time elsewhere, and then come back to this if and when they get it working properly. i really hope they do, because i really would like to be able to play it. :( till that time comes this is my one and only post here.

farewell from a stranger :(
