Printing out and binding a book isn't much cheaper than buying a used one, might even be more expensive if you find a good deal on used books.

But yeah, it's cheap to start, but if you really get into it and start collecting official supplies it can be almost as expensive as WH40K.

Depends on if you are using bargain price ink. And if you can crack your printer so it will print even if it lacks CMY. Yeah, mine Brother won't print black without cyan. There is surely a story behind this.
And after all, most hobbys are expensive when you get interested for real. Even damn stamps. (ask your parents :P)

Damn Skippy it can get expensive. Proably have $500-$1000 in my collection. course i have DnD original set. ADnD 1st edition / 2nd edition/ 3rd edition (yep) and the 3.5 edtion. .....Drew the line at 4th it sucks. plus about 1000 figurines. custom playing boards and 3d models of hallways and rooms. made from (http://www.hirstarts.com/)

Tip 1: Printing books is Not worth it. By used off amazon. Tried it a couple of times. seems to use up a ink cartriage per book then the binder cost, paper and a decent amount of time to punch holes and get it all together.....soooo soo much better to spend $10 and get it used.
Tip 2: Don't buy new if you can help it. My group tends to beat the hell out of books. the PHB probably gets flipped through 100-200 times per session.

Can I get a THAC0 rating plz?

Ps. I my current game the BBEG is an ancient black dragon Lich lvl20 wiz

@up
The shipping costs will kill me. I live in western pomerania, Poland.
Also I can't seem to find any good deals on polish e-market.

Any big cities near you? They tend to have boardgaming clubs, which are IMO the best place to look for used rulebooks.

Maybe Szczecin (Stettin), I wouldn't bother though since I have no other business here, and trains are relatively expensive and one of worst in Europe (heard of PKP Frozen Thrones on reddit?)
Might try to trade with Germany but I bet there will be a lot of trouble involved.
Best try would be to search media shops like Empik, preferably in Gdansk. Though nothing is for sure. They'd sooner have the MtG.
