While overly negative, there are some point to the words though. Since it took someone relatively no effort in summoning you, I assume that you don't really have a wall around you (or a palisade). That being said. you should start making sure your defenses of your home are up to par with a brick wall since while not everyone you meet will be a griefer, there are some that may be.

And Rhiannon, if they are as pumped up as you say, they'd more likely to travel in groups for safety of numbers to ensure no casualties and that only high tier factions are capable of combatting them especially if said griefers are high tier themselves.

Wow, had no idea we were so close for you to know me so well...lol Actually, Since I've been playing the game since world 1, pretty much non stop. My "words" come from experience, not just my own, but knowing a great many people, watching a great many things and learning a great deal of how those "types" operate. It will matter not 1 bit, whether she has a wall or not. They would have ZERO problem 1-2 hitting a pally segment and coming in as if it wasnt there. That is why they call it greifing. It isn't competition, it isn't PVP, it isn't for a rational "reason". It is just grieifing because they can and have nothing better to do (that they want to do that is). It is a sad side of the game, especially once a world has been allowed to become this dysfunctional and because no balance remedies have ever been implemented.

For instance they make it to where you can NOT tear down brick with hands (They'll just use ram exploits instead)...but nor can pally be brought down with hands in real life, and yet here they don't have to use a ram for pally.
Every resource over 30ish is locked up by alts they never log back in to. (ALso known as "Scent traps") for the express purpose of a continuous stream of grief victims as well as just keeping everyone from having anything over 30.... (When any normal game such as this would have a 90 day no log in = personal claim disolving or some other balance thing). Not to mention all the stuff locked up by dead claims and USED as scent traps (Which i probably what happened to her). When those resources should be used by ACTIVE players or available for reclaiming by active players.

On and on and on. I only expressed my concern for her and the possible (most likely) reason for her being KO'd instead of killed by the griefer on their 1st attack. So that it won't be such a shock if it comes to pass. Let's hope not though.

To prevent the situation from occurring again, I can inform you on how to make the beehives create wax. Within the radius of the beehives, they will hasten the growth of crop though each time a crop tile changes phase, it will aid the beehive in producing honey and then wax. The fastest way to get them to produce wax is to have the beehive have carrots within its radius as carrots have the fastest growth rate of crops. As for quality of the wax, I think someone that had performed tests can give better insight than I but I suspect it has to do with both the quality of the crops as well as the materials of the beehive.

Carrots aren't best for a large amount of wax. Pumpkins and longer growth time crops are best, they take less upkeep. The hives feed off of growing crops, not when the crops become full grown.

Carrots are best though for high quality wax.

Also I would suggest NOT harvesting your honey, leave the honey fulll as it seems wax only comes regularly after a certain amount of honey is in the hive. I just leave the honey untouched while a wait for wax. Least that ha been my experience.

Palisade bashing has been around for quite a long time and long ago, even brick walls were even softer than today's palisade (countered by the fact that there were no tables back then).

Also, not ever personal claim is a scent trap made by griefers; they are also made by other normal players that ended up quitting the game or still playing but simply want the resource for themselves. Even peaceful faction will lay multiple claims over many high level resource nodes.

Due to the extremely slow growth of pumpkin, it will produce significantly less wax than carrot based beehive since hive production is trigger per stage change (such as a 3rd stage "bud" hemp into last stage "fibre" hemp).

That's what I said, those that do quit then are USED as scent traps by idiotic griefers because there is no balance mechanics such as dissolving PClaims after a certain amount of time, say 60 or 90 days with no log in. These resources should be BACK in the game instead of locked up by non-active player claims and used as scent traps for bored morons. ANd yes, active peple or factions will also lock up everything they find over 30 with 50 alts they log into ocnce to set-up and never again. If they wanna lock up everything they should have to WORK for it by at least logging into their alts every 60 days..lol It's called "Exploits vs Balance". Having a PCLaim log-in requirement would go a long way in the balance department.

There has already been quite a lot of discussing about how to deal with permanent p-claims especially one the size that can encompass all of the major faction's villages from all of the worlds. There has been many suggestions on how to deal with it including making some sort of declay, some sort of alternative authority mechanics. There has been no official words on what will be done yet though and I suspect it won't be address until some of the other major bugs are fixed.
