It's true, he does. I worked with and against him for awhile. At least on two separate occasions.
If nothing else can be said about overtyped, it is that he is a magnificent no-lifer and dealing with him can be terrifying at times.

You're viewing the situation wrong. Two people just came by and insulted a solo player without taking action. They are 1) impotent, 2) incompetent, and so we can deduce 3) likely very easy to kill. The karma mechanic you speak of should just have been you sniping the driver of the boat. Assault is a criminal scent hardly even worth scoffing at. If they were neither 1 nor 2 they would have attempted to attack you. If you ended up KOing one of them, then KO the second and quickly destroy their boat. Everyone must die one day and you should welcome a challenge rather than bad neighbors.

Very likely they are griefers/to be, so be watchful of them. They wanted to goad you into chasing them just to harass you. No karma mechanic would punish them for this, only you. The best solution is to just pull out a bow and take aim. If they flee, don't bother to follow, they're cowards.

What a paradox it would be if it the playerbase survives the horrible lag (albeit small one), but eventually succumb to bug use and exploits.

Yeah I sometimes wish the lag was back too...

It did make the place a lot safer. Granted there are always going to be griefers/raiders in HnH but at least it was at a low number. Now if you don't have enough time to get a brick wall up you're as good as dead aha!

And yeah i'm in the process of brick walling. Just trying to get my iron minehole built, beeswax is a twat sometimes...

Ahahaha haha haha. I guess many of said hardcore players can be considered as sociopaths. Otherwise, I'm rather agree. I guess this can be caused by a small size of w6...
Although IMO the said "hardcore gamers" mostly have already advanced to such a stage of development when those griefing noobs are "food supply", rather than a threat ;)

Having a combat oriented play-style does NOT warrant wishing someone dead in real life. I had enough of that from Caradon, anyhow.

Aside that, there does need to be villains placed in the game.
