Don't leave scents until you know you can't be caught.
Don't be a dick, it helps, but it's not a guarantee you'll live.

If you see someone with a bow, just run inside a house (inside a wall). There are glitches that allow you to aim at someone and move off-screen so they don't see you aiming at them, and I think there's still a bug that lets you shoot at people through party chat.

Most of the time, I think people have weapons out for self-defense and/or they're too lazy to switch to something else. I think most "titan" (super-strong) fighters are UA anyway, meaning that they're more likely to carry travel sacks than a sword. If you see someone wearing a golden helmet or even a bear cape and merchant robe, be weary of them.

See these pics? It didn't take much for me to decide to kill these people for no reason other than entertainment. They were just there.

The same is true for most people in this game.

Never buy theft/trespassing skills.
Never hang around russian/slav settlements
Never build close to water/rivers

Find a nice place inland that has a water spring for a well.

When raiding ant hills, run to shallow water and wait for the ants to stop right at the edge and crawl away, then return to the hill and raid it again.

When hunting animals like foxes and boars from a boat, wait until they twitch to shoot them so that they do not run away from taking too much damage, and you won't have to chase them down.

I have my sword out and I wont kill you ;)

I wouldn't say "trust no one" I would say "only trust people with things you can afford to lose"

If you're lucky you can meet your neighbors and collect blueberries for them in exchange for some basic metal tools and seeds, for example. The risk of dying or getting your berries stolen while interacting with people is worth the possibility of accelerating your development in my opinion.

Depends on your luck and your approach to the game

Hey pm me if you ever have any question about the game. I know most things and love helping out newbies :3 We need more people playing this so tell your friends, Start the next big faction!

Also, Never swim without 90+ constitution, And when you do click on the other side of the river, and quickly right click your water flask and when getting low on stamina drink from the water flash mid swim. Swimming is dangerous.

Swimming actually isn't so bad anymore. I'd still advise people to have 20+ con before swimming and a max stamina bar, but as long as they aren't trying to transverse a lake they'll be fine. =)
