I think I spent more than 7 days boating to find my spot. Big cave (somewhat mined), abandoned Level 3 mine with tin and copper ore, Q42 water, Q39 clay (and Q70 claimed river clay, from which I get the occasional ball clay foraged), Q61 soil nearby, 3 Q30 mussel spots, 2 large swamps and 2 claimed mountains. My favourite spot is the Q55 swamp, those bluebells man...

How do you know the mine is abandoned? Things don't decay down there. Is it busted open from a raid or something?

Inside a palisaded settlement. Someone raided it and there is no claim aswell. Got some free cupboards from that village.

And, of course, someone just went to the Q39 clay spot and filled 6 kilns worth of clay to burn bricks... there goes my only source of "good" clay.

I just found a q39 clay spot with some kilns and p-claims by it a couple of hours ago. Does this node have a 4-way river crossing just west of it?

At the entrance of a big lake? If so that's the one. I dumped all the bricks and uncooked clay on the ground by the way. Needed to vent the anger.
