You have to inherit your dead character from the runestone in charctr creation room, then u will spawn at old characters hearth

hmmmm... that's odd then since I spawned at a new hearth fire someone new, was my old one destroyed probably?

this is possible, some rangers like to break the hearth fires of criminals so that they can summon him/her at their leisure somewhere secluded and safe, kind of like abducting the criminal. either that, or they broke all your things, including the unlit fire before they left.
