I believe in letting conversations take their natural course, and not trying to force people back on task. Especially when it's just a "yo what's up forum"

I also believe people who do free work in their own time to make us fun games should be able to deliver whenever the crap they feel like it.

I'm also an aetheist, as I think is quite a lot of metropolitan australia. I don't really hate religious people though, they're generally pretty nice

I can not see that pvp died with the tradition change - you can still try to slit the veins of any and all characters you encounter, at any time. One thing that might have changed is that you now only kill those you really hate, people who stole your resources or raped your wife, and you now prepare for the deed properly.

IMO, ancestor worship is necessary* for the character wipe that is bound to come sooner or later, and its effects should be well thought out and hopefully balanced after feedback from the community by the time the wipe takes place.

It might take a bit of practice but I was thinking something like this:
Hold one hand in front of you as you would when praying (except this is only one hand rather than both pressed together), then bow down and high-five at the same time with your other hand. You would need to break your visual of the other participant's high-five hand while bowing. That's the part that may take some practice. I think we could probably do it.
