I just have to agree with this. But I still believe they will spend their time on HnH development again. One day.
Hope you have a great day

World 3 for sure. The experience I had in other worlds pale in comparison to the amount I enjoyed this game during world 3. Although that could just be because it was also my first time playing this game, but it was still the best world by far in my opinion. The first and only village I joined in that world was Angkor ran by Granger where I also met Ramones. Of course there were other members like Hrabrimisek and his girlfriend but most people won't know who they are anyways. Needless to say all of them are awesome people which helped that much more to make World 3 a great world for me.

It seemed like it was the "perfect porridge." What I mean by that is, everything was just right. Vaults were around but not so bad as they are now, the alt use wasn't that bad either and bugs/exploits were rare and if they happened were fixed pretty fast save a few. (ie. tobacco) There was always a criminal presence but it was never so prevalent that you couldn't wander around freely in most any area and saying hello or having an entire conversation with passers-by was a common occurrence. Even if on the rare occasion you got ganked or your village raided, there was always a superpower like Sodom ready and willing to track the perps. Players weren't afraid to throw parties or other events and visiting other villages/players were things that now just do not happen without taking the proper security measures and so on and so forth.

It was a great world and I'm feeling a bit nostalgic thinking about it but not enough to actually make me play this game as it is right now though.

I loved world 5, it was where I learnt the most. I was in towns, I played with awesome people, I died and learnt from my mistakes, I tried all aspects of the game including mining which I learnt I hated. and learnt that you shouldn't pull hair from aurochs on ur main or u become splatter on the green hearth. I started Emerald City then as a joke mostly, I didn't think it would become a town. We were nubs and recruited people as they walked outside our walls and invite them in.
We did stupid shit like build mine holes in the middle of the village and just palisade it, and get raided and destroyed by Russians, and attacked by lady goo and gang. It's when I made most of my connections with people, ainran at the time helped us greatly, being the peasfool farmers that we were, and built up a nice village fixing the mistakes we made slowly.

It was a fun and active world.

I also like this world, it's been successful, and my town is great, with amazing people in it and I couldn't ask for any better people to be a part of it. It also is a world where I took the lessons of world 5 and made sure we didn't make the same mistakes again this world:P

i think w5 has to be my favourite simply because it was the first world i played (I know, I'm a newbie).
the thrill of discovery was pretty cool the first time around...

this world my character at least is much more successful and not being the leader has made me much more relaxed (and also the villages i've been in have been better, not a coincidence), but various things are incredibly frustrating with the semi-roleplay thing i'm trying to do now...

W3 hands down

people actually cared about their deaths there.
the land was still much unexplored
there was exploitation and whatnot, but nothing like it is now.
also was in some good villages and what not in W3, though there were many good ones, the HRE was one I will always remember fondly.

I started in W2, too noob to give any kinda say
I quit in W4 bout a day or three after the new LP system(thought it was total shit)
never played in W5(I think)
W6, has been by far the least favorite world. but it's the first world I died in(to my own stupidity)

Granted there was potential for bot abuse with the old LP system, but curios only made alting and botting worse. The higher animal spawn rate meant epic oxcart adventures to grind XP and make loads and loads of sausage. The old feasting mechanics might have been OP, but made it so that I could get up to a reasonable strength to murder and cause trouble across the hearthlands fairly quickly. Thanks to vaulting not being very prevalent with brick bashing still in place, there were a lot more people out and about on their main accounts to harass and kill. It was a much better time to be a criminal, as crime actually meant something. You were targeting main accounts that were not easily replaceable.

W3 was also my favourite. God bless murder LP :)

World 5. When it ended, i was a wall basher with just short of 1k str, had an almost impregnable town (Chernobyl) and had chest after chest of stolen loot from my many capers. For some reason I never managed to have many good capers in World 6. (Valten, Dis, Coles, Polan Horde) The hate was strong in World 6. With any luck if we have a World 7 I'm not letting ANYONE know who I am.

(And more importantley I made freinds with Emerald who has a niggas back like ajax.)

Now I would say world 1. For the same reasons Avu stated about world 2.

I was new, everything was so exciting to discover. No politics, no fighting, no drama. Just: "Woah what is this item I just found? I wonder what I can do with it!"

Finding the Goon underground city, stealing from it, hardly being able to sleep because of the fear of repercussions and then giving stuff back the next day was cool. Finding a hole in the wall of an abandoned city was amazing. We hauled wood from their mines 8 hours straight. Wood was as rare as gold back then since the basic terrain was grassland and you could not plant trees. Having to take teams of 3 or more people to hunt down a single bear...that is how it should be! Each bear kill was reason for a big party back then.

We didn't even need any walls back then. At the end of the world we had palisades half finished. Any stranger that would walk past you could just chat up and drink a beer with. Except maybe Pumpkin, he was scary.

World 2 was awesome because we could finally pay the scary guys like Pumpkin back and walk all over them. Not so awesome to abuse the coal like that in hindsight, but at that time it felt pretty damn cool to be on top. Apologies to anyone our guys raided that did not deserve it. Hi, Avu! :P

World 3 was of course the peak of power and that without any bugged coal. Untouchable Sodom that ruled the world without anyone even so much as trying to raid us. And I want to believe we used the power mostly for good. Sure some screw ups here and there where misjudgement was involved. But overall we came close to those white knights people wanted us to be :)

After that it was straight down hill. World 4 was somewhat interesting, but the AD botting armies we couldn't match with our little town even though we had the best ressources. W5 started off good till Dis came along and then the whole game turned to complete shit for me.

Waiting for the HnH emulator now some people work on. Maybe one can relive some of that world 1 spirit then :P
