I haven't met any people ingame yet i've been calling and calling, no one answers XD

not that hard, each day the awesome apple and nut trees "regenerate" apple and nuts so i can travel around for apple and nut trees for food

not that hard, i traveled north east and south (west ends up in a river) and i find quite alot of apple trees and the trees with nuts

if a player kill me? i would like to see them try (please don't, all i have is wood and other crap!)

EDIT: oh and i finally captured a rabbit! my haven and hearth life is progressing! and i have 3 pet frogs (1 somehow despawned[or hiding behind my pile of wood] while i was exploring)
and no luck on fir trees for my bed...

err i'm going for nice guy and plays by the rules, the boar that killed my main char made me use my other character to explore and found a rabbit! (and a lucky foot for 1000 LP when dried i think), that was 1 of the most important step to advance so now i actually thank the boar somehow

just, keep in mind that you'll need several things to prevent the totl annichilation of your house and your chara.
And people will attack you also when they gain nothing, 'cuz someone think that "kill" is the gain.

Here's what u need:

1 - A claim. This will prevent few robbery, enough to collect leather and basic things. Read my comics.

2 - Build a wall. That fence is of no use if we talk of stay safe. Enraged beasts and players can easily broke it, so you need a wall. Fences are usefull to keep tamed aniomals in a place. The first usefull wall is the wooden one, but after you'll have to run to build a brick one. (Check the wiki) http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Haven_and_Hearth_Wiki
°- Don't hide yourself behind an cliff thinking you can avoid to wall that side. In this topic is explained how people (and you too) can Jump a hill. This game is full of bugs, so better you'll know most of them. Wall yourself totally. viewtopic.php?f=29&t=30890&hilit=cliff+jumping
°- Don't forgot to login when you'r wall cornerpost will be dry and ready to build the wall. Someone could seal it for lolz, or wall you in while you're offline, so read the wiki and get the right timing. And once you're completed the wall with door, seal all conrerposts, so no one can build more walls from cornerpost and seal you inside (2). The Lolz in this game is something really awfull and stupid, so prevent yourself from being lollezzed.

3 - Don't build your home near a river. Walk in the land is boring, so most of the raiders uses rivers like roads and raid everything they find near. This will not save you from everything, but it's better don't stant in the middle of a road if you won't be overwhelmed. You can build a well if you need water in the inland.

4 - Hunt-Travel-Forage needs you to walk a lot. You should create an Alt (an alternative character) and assign him all the dangerous things. Walk and meet people is dangerous, farm and mine is less dangerous. Everyone here uses different characters for different tasks. Most of them uses also different accounts but this is up to you. The game allow you to have multi character without the need of a multi account (not so fair imho). But remember...this game have no rules. The only rules are Devs passing fancy so stay focused on what those are. Anyway is up to you, you can play with 1 main chara for all the time until someone will kill you and do it again if you feel it more funny.
