Nettle clothing gives you survival so by making some and then buffing your survival you should be able to make another one and increase your quality for higher buffs and repeat

cone cows and raiding ant hills is one of the easiest ways of getting curios.The more difficult curio to get is dragonflies, you can find them in the swamps (yes, the flying one)

Broken boat drownings/kiting animals.

Animal kiting isn't something until you get high survival for higher water and would require flask aswell, which isn't doable in 1st day, well at the end of it, since furs dry 16h? + tanning process 1h. And even then ... :Ž)

An easy way to kill animals as a new player is to carry an alt around in your boat and have him place signs around the animal you are attacking when you have aggroed it. This prevents the animal from running away.

To harvest some good early study stuff. RAID! an anthill, walk away about a screen length, wait for the ants to almost get to you then dash by to the hill and RAID! while the ants creep closer and closer and closer, got it RUN!!!!!!!!

Slide your civilization slider one tick to the right when grinding your other sliders to the right for LA, it will give you a small INT boost based on your main stat and is nice at world start
