Salem had a much more solid game mechanics foundation than H&H, I sure hope this isn't the end of it.

I would much prefer them taking some of that base to HnH though than the other way around. If only for the 3d graphics....I hate them.

I say we take everything good (mechanics-wise) about Salem.. and make a new game that uses the system, but like HnH(the time period) and then call it " Haven & Hearth 2™ "

its not like salem is going anywhere unless the devs decide to abandon it, but it is that paradox is leaving.
bye-bye, paradox. their marketing and managing sucked hard from the very beginning anyways.

This is so true.

I also think that H&H has some better mechanics that should be copied.

They will "finally" probably add Witchcraft to Salem (Eventually) because "and I'm guessing" Paradox probably was wary of putting Witchcraft in a game causing a Moral majority religeous outcry against it. Same with the Chthuluesqe and darker themes Salem was originally supposed to be based on. So we might end up with 2 kickass games instad of one abandoned kickass game and one..stillborn aborted game. All just suppostion and guesswork on my part of course......

That would probably be good publicity. I can't see Europeans worrying about that.

On that note, consider this my acknowledgement that I am PERFECTLY fine with Haven being monetized in some form as long as you guys keep bringing the content. (So thank you for the skulls)

I could be completely wrong but I'm betting paradox sells more games in the United States than in Europe. Fuck me if I'm wrong.
