On the other hand, a piece of parchment has a lot of intrinsic value, especially if something meaningful (to the reader) is written on it. My logic is that parchment and the means to produce it are so simple, and yet so meaningful (again to the right reader), then no one will have any reason to destroy our village/literature because it is basically worthless ( except to the reader). Perhaps we could produce so much of it it would become utterly meaningless in itself and pointless / a waste of time to destroy. And now we've come full circle. Literature could be a quasi-force in this extremely monotonous game, (similar to the sword, you know that saying about pens and swords don't you?) I'm just saying some people might go for it. Enough to give food-for-thought to the minds of the hearthlands.
Idk, Im getting ahead of myself, but I've been playing a shit ton of elder scrolls and I just want to see more shit to read inside of video games.
