I'd be incredibly ass-pained. All these changes were pretty stupid to be honest, except for the sword nerf.
Of another era.

Shorten range on thunder, buff flex attack gain and increase cooldown.

What would I would like to know is what was the thought process behind the nerfs that hit the game balance.

Could someone clarify why they thought those changes were needed, they seem a bit hamfisted and not that relevant.

Hay if they nerf mining and movement combat why not go all the way. Remove movement altogether.

And fix those tick bugs with ovens, kilns and smelters. That doesn't make sense at all putting stuff in and having it cook without branches. Also those kilns and smelters they have 5x5 inventory, what a op shit. Reduce it to 2x2 like the ovens. While we are at it maybe remove those insanely overpowered traveler's sacks and backpacks. I mean why should you have that much inventory space.

Animals I have problems with to. Why should you be able to kill bears from water. Make them run when they cant get to you. Only with 300 UA you should kill bears. Same goes for all other animals.

Boat traveling to. So op that you can sprint travel without any stamina penalty. Make boats use stamina and reduce there speed. I also want CRs Village porting and Hearth porting removed. That crazy bullshit about drinking water while sprinting should be removed as well, wtf is that about walking and drinking at the same time. What a joke.

This game is so fucking easy. There should be random natural catastrophes that randomly kills your characters amongst other strange dragons that can show up and one shot kill you out of the blue. I don't like this game at all the way it is and it needs a proper nerfbat right over its head. You know its supposed to be survival game and all that. To think of it in a survival game there shouldn't be any walls or obstructive objects you can build. Remove walls and houses to. Only leantos and spruce beads should remain.

Edit: I forgot about those stupid cellar-stones as well. Why is it everything indestructible was given a way to be destroyed. Make those stones destructible to. I mean only a 2000UA character with 1000 AGI should be able to kill a lvl 5 troll. Anything but that is just imbalanced. Nerf cheese to, maybe remove it altogether.

He is right though, the playerbase has grown so accustomed to all these quirks to make life easier.

HnH hardly feels like survival, it's just mechanics: the game.

There's a point that needs to be made about the difference between easier and better for the game.

For example, the 1 tick of fuel bug throws off end game pricing for metal. High Q metal is much cheaper to produce than it would be otherwise, and that shafts mid level towns ability to sell their lower quality metal goods.

However, it also would probably make baking a little too hard to do. In the case of baking I don't feel it would improve gameplay to force them to load more fuel as fuel loading is a pain with just a single tick. Not to mention it's too expensive to use high Q branches for any baking if that were implemented.

I'd say if we want to fix this one, introducing a new item/mechanic would be required.

I suppose that we are in need of a somewhat more genuine troll-killing method.

Idk why people are complaining about the flex nerf, I quite like it. Means people will actually need to be creative in combat instead of just getting 6 ip and flex punching. If you're in favor of mvmnt kamboot you should want to make the skill cap as high as possible in combat, and getting rid of flex in 1v1s is a good step towards that.

It should have been repurposed rather than nerfed into obsolescence.
