Not gonna download the new launcher until my towny server has updated. I did enjoy the horses on the pre-release, tho. Will look forward to it.

In downloading the new launcher, you're provided a drop down menu of which version you want to play in.

You can select the latest version, 1.5.2 or 1.5.1
