In haven attributes wont save you in pvp. Nor will high Q resources. It gives an advantage but not enough to be a win situation cause you have the best stats or gear. You need to play smart and at least have decent stats and by playing smart you can get there.

PvP is also a bit different I would say. Unless you want to die 10 times over by summon killes you have to group up with proper pvpers, in other words factions or large settlements. Most often you also find that most people pvp in groups. If you manage to kill someone 1 o 1 its most often someones forager alt.

Don't expect to be a pirate out to get a free kill here and there cause in haven its all about retribution and consequences. Yet again you need to play it smart to get away with it basically.

In short. You can't win the Q rase if you get in late but you can still compete in pvp or in other areas.
