I got loads of salmon during the night, from a lake, with woodfish, pinecone, and poppy wobbler. Some slight deviance too, occasional bream snuck in there.

Funny, all I got from fishing with woodfish in a lake at night is a bunch of roaches and one perch. I guess not all lakes are the same.

Also, I bought some q86 lobsters, and I'm still not catching anything with them. I remain convinced that lobster is the crappiest of baits.

*edit*
Looks like location is the most important factor. I've fished with 5-6 different baits/lures at one specific spot, and got perch every time.

*edit 2*
Actually, it seems to be the time of day. I'm catching nothing but perches in late morning.

So I could just find a sweet spot, and continually fish up q100+ perch and that give 6FEPs every time?
Awesomesauce.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Actually, I think I was wrong. I'm catching perches everywhere, even with a rock lobster.

Must be my lake then. 14 perches in a row, with 6 different baits.

I've been keeping a somewhat detailed list of everything I've caught and with what and at what time.

I have better luck catching pike with a Tin Fly. At night anyway. I've yet to fish during the day.
