I tested it at the time though, I had no problem - I didn't post as it seemed it was just affecting a few.

It was just the renaming of the login script I had done previously to thwart one of those pesky brute-force attacks; I had forgotten that the forum also referred to it. (I also didn't think anyone actually used the forum login form. ^^)

As for the issue of being redirected to a weird 3rd-party site, that's most likely just a retarded browser plugin that kindly takes care of all 404 errors for you.
