in my backups i found the wikia perched perch page i saved on 6th january 2011 (short before world3 ended) which states Filet already

I'm preety sure i did alot of them in w5, and waaay much more in w6. All from filets. W4 I really barely remember, when w3 i also have only foggy memories about perch parts since we had active and great cook who did all.

im pretty sure it was around the smith update that i cooked loads of fishy (and wasted a cupboard or two of perches by butchering them). i was spending more time on my experimental hermit alt before the end of w3. after w4, i hadnt cooked much fish till recently.
