Sorry to hear about what happened =/

Are any of the other people from your hamlet going to keep playing?
If you and/or the others are interested in relocating to my area I can give you a spot to spawn at
And a few basic things like backpack and seeds to start over with

You can but there's a couple extra steps. It involves spawning at the hearthsecret of a randomly spawned character

Of at least one of them. But I agree with the OP, always have.

Never too far away to help prove someone else's point.

I could give a rats ass, why don't you fuck off with him if you have a problem with the game. Every time a decent Pvp game comes out you little carebear twats pop up out of the woodwork trying to tone it down to your lowest common denominator and I'm damned tired of it. I die more than probably anyone who's EVER played this game and you don't see me whining for Jorbtor to change the fucking rules to suit me. Boo fucking hoo. it's not a hard fucking choice, if you can't be bothered to build a brick wall to defend yourself then either go play another game or don;t bitch about dying and being robbed.

What I'm gathering from you is that the game is too hard, you don't wish to spend the time to learn the game and want protection and security instantly.
There's this game called FarmVille, I think it would be more suited for you.

You find a game that doesn't pamper you, so you run crying, you are a child who wants instant gratification from a game, when you don't even take the time to learn it. If you don't want to learn the game, then go play world of warcraft, where they shower you with all the meaningless instant gratification you could ever want.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

dude what the fuck? Calm down the guy is just trying to have a discussion about the game and he's being pretty civil about it too.

Actually, the only one acting like they have a pool cue stuck up their ass on this forum most of the time is you so why don't you chill out. I wonder where TokyoShovel has been lately, haven't seen him post much since you came back.

I am an advocate for perma-death and have often spoken out against Einher even. You could also go back as recent as the discussions around movement combat and read my views on that. It is because this game is so hard-core that I am such a fan. I most definitely am not the carebear type, but somehow that slipped past your simple mind before you yet again instantly pulled the trigger in a desperate effort to protect this tiny place where you feel you finally fit in.

You are a dim of wit and you seem intent on proving that over and over again at every possible opportunity. I do not understand why you insist in involving yourself in discussion that is clearly well beyond your intellectual reach... but then again, neither do you I guess.

As for community? We have a half dozen or more Skype conferences and we all get along more or less fine in them. Your problem seems to be more or less with the black skills abilities in the game. You are a carebear whining because this game isn;t nice enough for you. Shitstains like you brought about the Trammel/Felluca split in ultima Online and functionally ruined it. Please go find another game to champion as your "cause".

Hey, fuckwad. I love the black skills. I love the violent, and volatile nature of the games mechanics. I've already stated what issue I do take with, and you're a shitbag who loves to throw your weight around and flippantly toss the "casual/carebeare/whitenight/pussy" type comments everywhere anyone who takes issue with anything you don't, and obvious by your post history. I hate the fact that the community that already exists hates anyone who tries to join the game. You use your hours of playtime to curb stomp any newcomers who won't immediately start off as your bitch lapdogs. You are exactly what is wrong with humanity, and this game is apparently ran by fucks like you.

I don't go around "championing" any games, or do anything like this shit, so CHECK YOUR FUCKING BAGGAGE. You're garbage comment means nothing to me, and the same goes for all the other "hardcore" asshats out there that react this way to ANYTHING contrary to catering to their whims.

It's not about anti-pvp, it's about game balance, to which their is essentially none.

Phaen, I would take your offer of hospitality, but I'm finding ti hard to extend even basic trust to anyone in this games community at the moment. I'll probably end up nomading and hermiting eventually. I've learned enough about this game to know how to play, and I can get my progress back relatively easily. There's just no learning how to play the politics game. It's cut throat, and garbage, in real life and in virtual life, and I won't participate. So if you're serious about the hospitality, send me a PM or something.

(Also, I feel I should mention, just so everyone knows: FUCK WoW. Never cared for that type of game. I did play FFXI for 7 1/2 years, before it became garbage, but fetch quest, hot-bar bullshit is not my background. Stop you're ignorant insult swinging, because they've basically all been misses so far.)

And as the civility returns to the thread, so will mine. Thanks for your feedback guys.

Somewhere in an announcement (i think) it was stated HnH is seen as a social experiment by Devs...

I still think the majority is more interested in prosocial, communicative and cooperate playstyle...

Look at numbers of players devide the loudmouthers, epensers, playtowinusingeveryexploiters here and in ru forums and you got the majority...

Some dramas are funny, some boring, some are just lame but hey it's HnH

And there are few members in this community which are trusted by nearly all players: Eem and Phaen sure belong to them...

At last: don't confuse Chaos and Anarchy ...

Blah blah blah blah blah. Blowme. I'm sick of people talking about my "post-history". You don't know a fucking thing about my post history or you'd see that it's easily 50% helping people out with shit but on the other hand I won't sit idly by and watch people talk shit about things they don't have a fucking clue about...... that would include you Jacob. Don't worry little muchkins. When I hit 5k posts I'm retiring this name and rest assured if I choose to continue none of you will know who I am....

You've all proven that by being so sure that my buddy Craig, who quit posting because you morons wouldn't quit branding him as me so doubtless when I do you'll all pick some random new poster and pile on him. Also? I never stopped posting when I got banned, Ijust started using a neigbors comp to post and neither mods nor you dipshits ever suspected a thing. All that being said, I ceased being "allowed" to post in any thread months ago when you people started trying to make every thread I post in ABOUT me and "I" got punished for it. In short, go fuck yourselves. Oh, and have a nice day.

Edit: 4977 is enough. Laters.....

^ LOL ^

Wow, that drama. This is my, what, 6th post? I've been hermiting for about a week, and am brand new to this game, and he wants to try dropping that baggage in here like it's relevant or meaningful? Hey, hey, hnh.

I can definitely see the social experiment thing. I'm a huge fan of sociology, but I prefer psychology and cultural anthropology. Sociology is too close to the action to be of practical use, imo.

It's refreshing to see civil people vouching for one another. I'd love to jump on that, but that'd be a bit naive. I look forward to re-establishing myself in the world, and would love to be part of a small community in game, but it's gonna take some time for me to assess people's dispositions and intentions. Backhanded and betrayal seem to go hand-in-hand with sabotage and griefing, in general, but especially for this game.
