I dont have the money right now to buy fraps :E

I will look into getting fraps and try it out on my pc and see how the audio quality on that is because I know different recorders have a sound compression.
As if i use Camtasia its decent
if i was to record via webcam i sound like a robot
i will check out fraps if its okay ill stick to my PC but if not i will most likely transfer to my brothers for recording.

lol - Fraps is for people that can't handle stuff like Camtasia ... but anyway everyone should use the software he thinks it's suiting his needs

Sounds like the line6 is putting the phasing in... the microphone seems to be ok - for getting less hissing you might craft a simple pop filter for it

I do own sony vegas

one word in here sounds very wrong to me ... ;)

Well the lin6 was amazing when i first got it I do not own a popfilter nor know how to make one i was never a singer only a guitarist/drummer so i bought the line6 for my guitar little did i know it would crash my CP with imense CPU outputs so. If i was to plug any other device like a MIC into my pc it wont register it because my actual Pc soundcard is damaged i think. Only other reason i believe it doesnt work so i just use a webcam mic.

DIY Popfilter

Line6 is hot stuff for guitar with PC ... 8-) and normally you'd use the Audio cards (onboard audio) line in with it and mic in with microphone...

too bad the postage to send one of my spare soundcards as a gift to you would cost more than to buy a new one...

The audio anomaly sounds like hardware feedback rather than any sort of room issue or effects processing. There's too much buzz/hiss and cuts off too cleanly, and the voice is coming out too clean otherwise. If it was old analog equipment, I'd say look for an ungrounded circuit (or one that wasn't effectively grounded). However, some of this might be beyond a reasonable fix. Any cables used could be the culprit. Check resistance and grounding with a multimeter if you have one. (I also don't see how this could have caused damage to the sound card unless the device is not functioning properly or it's not designed to interface with a PC via the normal IO/mic input.)

Headsets generally have a built-in pop filter on them. I'm not looking at a particular model, but there's not really much way to build an add-on one, either. One could get creative with some foam rubber or mesh filters (like thin stockings) of various types, but quality and usability will vary.

Good job getting rid of the map on-screen while recording. You might still get some people figuring out where you're at, though.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I'll leave the tech replies to people who know what they are talking about - just wanted to say - awesome track. The guy who actualy sings has a lovely voice, I found something he did on his own, I think, Save your scissors, - beautiful voice.

His Solo project is called
'City and Colour' Dallas Green is amazing and has to be one of my favorite singers. Although I still enjoy listening to alexisonfires old stuff, shame they broke up.

And to Magicman Months ago my PC was working FIne, I've been a Musician for quite a while drums for over atleast 7 years and guitar for the last 3/4 I ordered a KB37 Line6 Toneport to record Guitar Although It is known Macs are better for the Music recording I own a Windows 7 Laptop. Its decent, I could play games on without any problems or skype with no interference untill I got the Kb37 it was working good one day But it had malfunctioned on me one day and Clipped Out when that Happened my PC internal Sound card had crash, No sound came back from my PC into any headphones at all. Also all the Ports were shocked but had worked before that so my MIC input on my PC does not register anything the only thing that registers is my USB Hubs and I've talked to a bunch of people about this and they said well maybe its because of dust or a circut break but that would be weird if my PC sound card crashed Just because of some Dust. Although I will be getting a new PC when i can hopefully a new desktop cause my other one got dumped by a petty virus I dont want to waste any money on this one. The sound quality is not to bad on youtube to where You cant understand a word im saying cause I do watch my own videos to see and its decent enough No not a 500 dollar mic quality but decent enough to get by without spending 500 dollars on youtube when i dont get over 10k views on a video.
