How about everyone who posts on this thread agrees to donate $5 before the end of the year to Jorbtar for H&H development and appreciation?

It adds up.

Math.

I think you'd be wrong in that assumption.

I'll be honest and say that I haven't, and if I had two nickels to rub together, I might consider it.

Remember, kids: having kids gets expensive, especially when they're teenagers.

@Amanda: if you won the lottery, you could afford it. I think flights on SpaceShip One are around a million per. I'm sure for slightly more you could book time on the ISS for your "research project."
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Prolly it would be easier (and cheaper) to just buy some ZeroG parabolic flights and some times on hubble besides getting a huge homecinema with round projection to watch Rover adventuring on Mars :D

I guess it will still take a lot of time till normal mortals will have the true opportunity to travel into space - i'm not expecting that it will happen in my lifetime anymore...but hey i wouldn't want to anyways - there's no planet like earth...

Exactly, and unless the friendly aliens who abduct me have the technology to keep me forever young, beautiful, in perfect health and accept my cat, I would ofc expect them to bring me home again.

If I had a million dollars....
I'd buy you the mooooooon...

But yeah. I've always wonder what I'd do if I actually won that much money. Always thought I'd donate some 50k to B12 and maybe this game, but you never know. This all just theoretical. Once you get the money you might just forget about giving it away completly, and spend it all on stuff you always wanted until you're out.

I don't really think money would influence further development of Haven, I think the donation thing is just for appreciation's sake. If money did affect development why wouldn't they make it a subscription based game and use the money to fix the many issues and add more features? So many people on the forum have said including myself that I'd pay to play if they made regular updates.

It's good to see that everyone likes this game and would donate to it. However, I don't have a credit or debit card or any card that can transact money through the internet, so I can't donate until I get one which won't be until i get a job. If they don't use the donations for further development of the game, they should, because this game has potential to beat call of duty and high popular games like that. Eventually after some improvement and tweaking, this game could go on consoles someday hopefully, and maybe even mobile devices such as smart phones or tablets. That would be amazing. I would pay money for that to happen for sure.
