I never did. For some reason, Java just doesn't run well on my computer anymore (never really did). World chat connects through IRC, and it gets to be too much for my system to handle (and yet I can play RIFT with only a few performance issues....)

How do I global chat?

Two ways:

1. Ender's client (and forks of it) have a Global Chat function built in that connects you to an IRC channel. I forget if it is #haven it connects to or a custom channel.

2. Use an IRC client (such as mIRC or a web based client like Mibbit https://www.mibbit.com/) and connect to the #haven channel. (synric.net network)

#haven2 for ingame global chat

If you have mIRC of Hydra IRC or other client, click the down-left button it will redirect you in your client.
If you don't click down-right link, it will go to mibbit, browser version of a client for IRC.
