There's been times with even more than 1500 players online - !but that's been after "prominent" YouTubers featured HnH and a load of "tourists" took a look ... i guess the average is 300 - 400 and lots of them are long time players ... some ppl are playing on / off style with pauses but for many it's just too demanding to stay ...
and i guess everyone asks himself sometimes like i do: "why am i'm still doing this?!?" :P

I would love to see HnH 2.0 move away from the time consuming and repetitive nature of HnH. Jorb often suggests we make our own proposals when we criticize, so I would simply suggest capping the "character progression" to X number of foods per real life day, and adding more meaning and importance to non-bottable player interaction.

The core feature of this game for me is social interaction and cooperation. Being alone harvesting the same crap every other day is very boring.

needs more thought. this would tie progression to a tedious daily mechanic, not everyone shares that playstyle

ive seen other games relax this a bit by using a weekly system or increasing the daily point cap with any unearned "leftover" points

Agreed with Jackard here. I can see your (Robben) point for hermits who want try and be competitive, meaning that they have to try and keep up as best they can with all roles in the game. But in a village, which I think this game is largely aimed at, this is not the case and shouldn't be.

I know quite a few people who love clicking their carrots every day, heck some of them twice a day and they dislike e.g. mining, or fishing, or making cheese etc. It doesn't mean because a certain task is tedius and repetitive to you that it is so for everyone else.
