Ill start by agreeing that the case is bullshit and money does affect the outcome of some trials. High priced lawyers can get you out of almost anything.
I still believe that the United States is still the best country in the world. We are painted with a broad brush by some, but we are more diverse than most think. We sometimes over step and stick our noses in when we shouldn't, but at least we try. We supply more aid and help than any other country and we will defend those who cant defend themselves. We act while others sit back and claim to be "better".
We are the yard stick that the rest of the world measures itself on. You can and probably will argue this, but it's true.
