I will start building and pm all the volunteers as soon as we get atleast 15 players.

Plow racing - i've seen a video of this before but I couldn't find it - perhaps someone else could post it here if they know what im talking about?
Cave-in deathmatch - Make a large underground area with lots of supports then have some alts break the supports and last one standing wins.
Swimming race - speaks for itself

Plow racing looks very fun, will definetly add this one. [thank you for the link, ramones]
I was thinking about swimming too, but the problem is fresh alts will drown pretty fast and almost at the same time, but while I was thinking about this I got another idea:

DF - dragonflies, yellow line - players path, the rest should be clear :)
Goal is to be first and not to drown, flasks are allowed. This can replace challenge №5.

And the one with supports depends on how people will answer to my questions below. Also need to make safe place for the judge in this one.

Hi :)

Now I have some questions for all of you, even if you are not going to participate in any form your opinion can be usefull.
1. Some of donators are concerned about security. And they have a point. I'm not afraid for prizes safety, that one is easy to provide with simple alt-vaulting, so there will be nothing to loot and no one to kill. But the problem is potential griefing. I believe there is almost non such idiots in hnh, but I feel like something needs to be done about even little possibility of theirs interruption.
Any offers and ideas?
2. Related to the first one. At first I was not going to build any walls around gathering village and arenas. Too much effort and materials and there is no point, because as I said nothing to steal, no one to kill, nothing to destroy. But now we have few volunteers willing to help with building and one of donators offered wrought iron and steel. Though arenas for most or atleast half of competitions can not be walled (all the water involved things, long distance race). So now this is up to you: brickwall, yes or no?
3. Want/need a skype convo?
4. Should we allow to choose participants competitions they like or every player have to go through all of it? And what about not having a team?
I see it like this: players unite to the 5 people teams (not necessary 5, depends on how many people will take part), name their teams and make a uniform (wear one same item, more than one will be allowed if there wont be too much teams). If there wont be a full team from your village and/or allies, you can create a team with any participating hermits and loners, so everybody should be involved in some team. Teams participate in all the competitions, whole team or its individual members can miss some for different reasons (dont like this one, irl issues, time zones, etc.), but this will affect their chances to win the main prize.

Why not build a wall that is an obstacle course on the inside?
Two birds, one stone, or, rather, many many stone.

hard to detect cheaters in case there will be any, will need a neutral judge to stand at each 80 tiles
this is still an option though

I think this is an awesome idea, very well thought out, I esp like the frog, dragonfly and racing games, at this stage in the game an element of competitive fun is most welcome.

Now I have some questions for all of you, even if you are not going to participate in any form your opinion can be useful.

3. I think a skype related chat would be beneficial, esp when it comes to different time zones, etc, it would make organization simpler and enable everyone involved to keep up with development.

4. I think the team idea is a good one - hermits can always band together and form a team or play in a team of friends they have in-game, so no-one needs to feel excluded. The only thing I would add to this is that maybe the combat related events could just involve a chosen member of the team without it affecting the team as a whole, many hermits have little to no combat experience and would fail miserably if all needed to take part in combat events.

Good luck and count me in for any help needed in construction or secondary prizes. :)

New game: chickenball (or rabbit). Volleyball- or tennis-like layout, two teams, fence in the middle. One side makes chicken run through the fence, the over side has to catch it and send back. Chicken left borders on your side - you loose, next team step out.

Its a russian guy. Don't bother being mean. Just support the great idea. It will need all the help it can get.

It might be more valuable pointing out that a simple name change could make the games sound less like the special olympics, than it would be to just ignore the problem entirely, LoW.
