I'm completely aware of the connotation, hence why I mentioned I wouldn't say it to a black person, and I do say it to a lot of acquaintances that I don't know very well actually. Most people don't mind if they aren't black.

I've met a bunch of US Afroamerican musicians and some of them i asked what they think about white folks calling them niggers or each other. Some pointed to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vn27lIzAHV4 (the talk mostly was already about Sly before ), some HipHop guys in the late 80ties / early 90ties said if it where white HipHop guys they'd tell them to use the word Homie instead, other whites they'd just ignore and some well known real hard guys from South Compton just showed me how they'd pull the trigger, that they wouldn't even allow the few whites in the hood they stay with all day to call them nigger, a Jamaican Dancehall Rapper just said that whites that aren't racist and using the word nigger must be just idiots missing braincells ...

Regarding GTA 5, I don't think it'll happen. Rockstar knows how many people play their games, if they decided not to release it on PC, there was obviously a justification for this. They're not From Software. Maybe they have contracts with Sony and Microsoft, and therefore can't release it there even if they wanted to. Maybe it's just not profitable enough, what with piracy and all. I don't know. All I know is that the guys at Rockstar aren't retarded, and if they didn't want to release it on PC then there was obviously a reason for this. What if this petition "succeeds" and then 1/10 of the people who signed end up buying it and Rockstar ends up losing money? They're not releasing a game on PC again. This isn't as simple as pressing a button and making the game pop up on Steam, there's a lot of money involved.
