It's wrong though. It says I "thrive on action". I might be the most boring person I've met, and I don't even want to go skydiving and such.

The 2% on INTJ is pretty close to some of the numbers I've seen in the past. (I'm pulling this from memory, FYI, so I could be talking out my ass, too.) If you look at it, there's 16 archetypes, so that would, mean an average of 6.025% each. Given human nature and some personality traits don't make for ideal breeding conditions (such as being introverted), it's not surprising some of these drop to under half of what the average should be and others are nearly double.

As far as the real usefulness of Jungian archetypes... I think that's been debated for, what, 100 years now?

Are they like horoscopes? Hardly. Horoscopes are like pulling iron nuggets out of your ass: pure magic. These do show show general personality tendencies when a proper test is done. To note, there are few proper tests on the Internet for free. Proper tests are a few hundred questions and can take an hour to do and usually cost a good bit of money. I did mine when I was taking Psychology many, many years ago as part of my grade (this was back when we HAD to participate in some grad student's research studies). Also to note: a person's archetype can change over the years as the person changes, especially if an aspect is close to center.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
