Oh, I see. Aren't all scents for the same crime committed by the same player equal one another?

no, each crime has it's own scent, and therefore it's own object.

Battery and murder don't cause hhp loss though.

What's the difference between them? The number of times you can "use" it?

I mean, I think some games use "generic" objects (references) for objects that are all the same, and a copy is only made when someone interacts with said objects, otherwise RAM issues would appear with huge maps. If the scents are all the same (not in id but in value) creating references could solve the issue. I guess.

I think the more heinous the crime the more potent the scent (atleast regarding it's persistance).
