Aurochs should fight back when attacked, and they should be stronger than boar. Although I guess that would suck for the new players, there is always bread for con.

Also according to Wikipedia, brown bears are no more than 680 kilograms. I assume the bears in game are brown bears, since there don't seem to be any others in the Scandinavian countries. Perhaps the challenge aurochs will offer would be equal to a bear? Could be scary considering they roam in herds...

There's a good chance that the mega sized bears were wiped out in Europe before that wikipedia entry, possibly as late as medieval times.

Anyway, if we can have pumpkins (New World) there is no reason the dev's can't be similarly generous about supplying us with Kodiak bears.
