Hafen isn't released yet. Hyping an unreleased pre-alpha game is asking for disappointment. The initial launch will be buggy, will have tons of exploits, and won't have a lick of polish on it anywhere. People will come here, try the game, play for 15 minutes, and then quit and never come back. Natural word of mouth is all fine and good but don't try to bloat the playerbase ahead of time or you'll kill any long-term hype.

Also, don't lie about reviews. The game has tons of problems, loads of grind, and requires a lot of patience and study. The reason that Haven is great is that, regardless of all of that, it's still a really fun permadeath sandbox mmo. If you're going to build people up that this is the best game ever and that they need to sell their homes and play it 24/7 to feel fulfilled in their lives, they're going to immediately be disappointed.

It'll be called Haven & Hearth when it's released but for clarity's sake it's Hafen for now.

hafen is a "code or build name" to differ from existing haven

instead of hyping read the announcement threads ...

For one thing, as I've stated before, Hafen is Haven. Haven was due for a fundamental rework even before we started working on Salem. For that same reason, there's no "returning" to the current codebase of Haven; it's just too obsolete for that.
