Oh yeah, I know; but I would at least assume that they match its version numbers against what version of the standard they support. I could be wrong about that, of course (but since it's based on Sun's Java, even that sounds a little bit weird). I was just thinking that, since it's JNLP and the JNLP file specificies Java 1.5+, it might have downloaded an alternative JRE and used that one instead.
Well, I don't speak with expertise about Apple's implementation of Java anyway, so I'll shut up. :)
