The video makes it sound like this is the correct and ultimate way to use a bow, but that's pushing it. Bows were used differently in history - sometimes timing and discipline are more important, as in the case of the army who affords so few arrows to each archer that speed and acrobatics aren't relevant. Sometimes power to penetrate heavy armor is best, and a heavy bow is by definition harder to handle. I can't see that technique working with bows that have a long draw, like the Japanese yumi or the English longbow. But it is really impressive, no question to that.

Its a technique for archers on horseback or in the thick of the battlefield, probably not for those sitting on top of a wall.

When loftar was born, Denmark and Sweden was in a union. Loftar chose to use his Danish name ("danskenamn" in Sweden, a lot of old people have them) for the sake of anonymity.

Are you serious? It was actually kaios who got me to watch it, although I had seen it posted on HN earlier that same day but I hadn't watched it at that point. Either way, it's not like I held off in posting this for a really long time.
