Yknow.. Jorb, at this point every image in the world has been made at least once, that is to say there is no image created that hasn't already been done before. How I see it, once an image is uploaded to the internet it ceases to be private, it becomes the internets property so to speak. If someone uses your avatar or one of your pictures you uploaded, then you should take it as a compliment not as banworthy.

More food for thought. How close does an image have to resemble another to become infringing on copyrighted. There is 7 billion people in the world, not counting the generations that lead up to that number. Your picture is of a sunrise and a mountain, do you believe a near exact or exact copy of that image hasn't been done at least once?
It makes me chuckle a little bit when I think of people getting upset over their image as if it's special and hasn't been made before.

Maybe, but people choose their avatar with care, it will have some personal relativity to them, I can understand why someone would get upset when another blatantly copies it, esp on the same forum.
More so, I don't even understand why anyone would want to, with the exception of causing offence or having a joke.

I can almost 100% guarantee there isn't a picture exactly identical to jorb's avatar.
As most of you know, he is an artist and by the looks of his avatar, he drew it up himself.
The only reason the exact image would be somewhere else is if someone else took it for their own use.
