drastic exaggeration alert.

1 - I don't think anyone currently playing has been playing for 6 months
2 - death at 6 months, even on full change, would only lose you 80% of that in terms of character stats and equipment
3 - Any LP invested in a claim is retained, as is all your base and material wealth that you didn't have on your character at the time, that's what most people spend the bulk of their time working on.


A completely different angle is my usual points on not playing the game just to grind your character stats, yada yada yada, social interaction, blah blah blah.


Then there's also the empirical evidence. H&H loses far more players to general boredom/apathy than it does to perma death issues.
