I think this stuff is pretty neat. Though, you might use a different arm position for holding the spear. When a hearthling is holding a torch, the sprite is more appropriate for a vertical spear. That, or having the spear be carried horizontally.

I do hope larger boats are added. It would rock my world if I could have a boat with an interior and a deck which could be walked around on. Sounds hard to code though :cry:

I don't much like that "steel" armor, primarily because it looks mostly like a cloak. Perhaps make one without the cloak on so that we could see the actual armor?

The suit is quite fail, but the hat is awesome. I might actually retouch this later, but paint.net hates making slight changes between colors so shading it was an issue.
