Can anyone explain whats the big deal about AD and Dis?

they are the 2 biggest factions in the game. by World 7 most western factions other than Ainran had stopped playing leaving really only AD and Dis, the 2 big Russian affiliated factions to fight over the world. With any luck haven 2.0 will see the return or rise of some western factions otherwise everyone will quit bothering with it (Like they did in World 7) and leave the game basically empty but for a bunch of Russian children fighting it out.
