i think wood boards and wood pieces dissapear on the floor of houses/outside after awhile.. or when the server crashes/restarts...
Logs can sit on the ground and don't dissapear [provided the server saves them before a crash]

Yeah i've seen blocks disappear.
The ones who see things differently.
