Where does that make you stand Rhia?
i mean first your saying i'm an elitist for
welcoming the new system and then you
say that everyone who doesn't like the new
system should go play one of the 1000 other
grindfests out there?

And...

"i believe we should bitch and whine much more than we already do - about things we do, do not and even could not possibly know! we should mutter when the devs make updates and when they dont make updates, either is good. and when the devs attempt to garner feedback about potential updates, we should become completely hysterical if these ideas are imperfect and begin foretelling the end of all things. we should moan that massive changes to gameplay in an alpha are totally unreasonable and its not as if discussing or - god forbid! - testing these changes is something that should actually happen"

No, I said you were an elitist for coming into a discussion thread where the subject was his feelings about this supposed "system" being the end of H&H, ya know this game. When you actually do NOT feel that way and instead of posting your praise in the Wyrd thread you acted as though he as a player did not have the right to discuss HIS feelings which are opposite of yours. IN other words, there was already a thread for buttkissing the new system so I didn't understand why you were in this one if you didn't agree with it, or at least wish to contribute relevant discussion to it on it's ideas/his feelings.

Now, onward, Yes , you are correct, I (supposing H&H as the game it is NOW and the base mechanics therein) believe that those who prefer the nanny crap questing and dufus grinding of the cookie cutters, and wishes H&H to come more into line with them, then yes they should go play one of the 1000 that ALREADY do that instead of wanting/encouraging H&H to change into just another one of those games. Sure there's lots of stuff needing tweaking and additions and expansions, BUT not the basic gameplay that makes H&H unique and what it is. If the base mechanics of the game (or any game) is so radically altered, it is NOT the same game anymore. In that I agree with the OP that the game as outlined in the "Wyrd" thread is NOT H&H any longer. Almost as though the devs are bored of this game and wish to create another similar game. WHich is fine, make a classic server for H&H then and create their new game...lol (such is the dangers of Indy...you can find alot of genius ideas in indy but are also at the mercy of indy devs who can at any time brainfart outside a business model...such is the give and take of the industry.

Aww how sweet. Unlike the pile of shit threads you've made in the past when the subject or issue touched your fancy bone (r). As for the general Wyrd thread, meh, wading through 8 pages of noob names I don't even recognize going"ummm yeah" with their 5 post id's. Well..nah..Although I did stop to read those I recognized Such as yourself, and other more known figures on the forum to gauge their opinions. But no, I saw no need in doing a mash-up of back and forths in a general thread, when this thread was not a general thread, but was instead a more precise statement which SHOULD = a more defined discussion on a particular opinion ABOUT the Wyrd system. An opinion I more agreed with and there fore saw more relveance in commenting in.

Which of course would be the difference between someone who wished to discuss a particular opinion on an issue as opposed to an attention whore who just wants to post in EVERYTHING!

And PS edit. Loyal players of a game do not make "Cheap calls for the attenion of the devs", nor do they consider their opinons "threats of quitting = you'll be sorry" (he who smelt it, dealt it, and your immaturity is showing by even thinking that). Instead I think somone like LMan would be saying that out of fear...fear that something they cared about (the game) would be ruined , or in dissapointment perhaps , they they would not be able to play anymore (especially if the game was changed into something else they didn't like). SO perhaps you should try to see more mature motives in things people do...it was at least indicate that such mature motives would be fore-front in your mind instead of immature ones...which could indicate your own maturity level? Just a thought.

Ummmm, but on occasion I know it does a lot of good to "disturb" one like yourself. After all...The Art Of War...to distract, off balance, and discombabulate an opponent is often quite a nice method of opening up the flank for the kill-shot...lol

... the already existing thread on the topic wasn't good enough?
