500 Survival is probably overkill too.

Is 500 really what is considered end game? Aren't diminishing returns pretty hefty after around 200?

the point i'm proving is that "it shouldn't be possible and it isn't currently and never will be"

of course it's overkill. but if you're going to be perfect? you'd have 500+ farming, so q500+ chickens, you'd need 500 survival (and of course a q500 cutting tool) not to diminish the quality when you butcher them.

end game is what you make it. it's a sandbox.

sabinati did you do the math on how much time you'd need to get q 500 chickens?

Yes, it should be possible to be "perfect" in every skill, if you're willing to spend enough time.
This way, more casual gamers can specialize in something and be good at it in a reasonable amount of time. But powergamers won't get bored either because they can go crazy and work on characters that are good at many things, maybe even everything. Few players will actually achieve that and they won't have an advantage in any one particular skill. I don't think it's much of an issue.

this. Games like H&H don't really have a conventional endgame. There's no need to "max" several skills, or any skill at all.

it would take about a year i guess? not sure how long it takes for the egg to hatch into a chick or the chick to become an adult, but i'm guessing 3-4 days. 100 or so generations of chickens is how many it would take with the most favorable results from the RNG / large enough chicken operations and selective breeding.

beside the point anyway.

No, it should not be possible to be perfect in everything. It would be nice if the game made it more expensive LP-wise to generalize, or cheaper to specialize, to the point where it would theoretically be possible to be 'perfect' in everything but that it would take at least 40000 hours to do so. (Yes, literally five years of your life pissed away to a game. Hey, if you're that 'dedicated', you deserve to be rewarded, I guess.)

200 in each skill is pretty much as much as you'd ever need. That doesn't take THAT long to do. And it's just a bit ridiculous that people can eliminate having to interact with others due to the fact they can macro their way to victory or whatever.

I mean come on, look at his stats. I have no doubt he could easily hit at least 200 in all of those within a week or two. How much LP do you get per hour, Avu?

Just tell us, sabi, why there should be no cap in game? ( Even a soft cap)
The pros:-
- People don't feel as forced to get perfect in every skill, and therefore don't have to feel like they have to be logged in all the time. This'd REALLY reduce stress on the servers.
- People have to rely on each other and interact.
- It builds up communities, allows people to still manage to survive / thrive.
The cons:-
- People can't become masters of all trades. ( To me, this is a definite pro. )
- Certain individuals feel it would reduce their effect on the game, because they can't spend inordinate amounts of time playing / macroing to get an advantage? ( Again, a pro to me. )
