Examples?

The combat system is also in desperate need of targeting aids. Something like a hotkey that gives you a list or all available targets(similar to when more than 1 thing is attacking you).

I recommend looking to the top right of your screen, when in combat there is a list of portraits of everyone who wants to kill you. You click on them with attacks etc.

I also understand completely not being able to do what you want. For most of my life I've been fighting the English language, from speech impediments to reading and writing disabilities.

Does the combat system need to be super accessible for people with disabilities? What if it's not needed for hunting and only for PvP? Are you really missing out from much by not using the combat system? I barely used it last map, especially outside of hunting and I don't feel too bad about that

As the person who claimed a perception difficulty as the reason I don't seem able to use the combat system, I say no, it doesn't. I don't have any qualms about not being able to fight remotely effectively. I can always die so it's not like I'm barred from fighting.

But the minor perceptual difficulties I have are not a legal disability in anyway. In fact it's just a variation in vision. I have a very narrow range of focus, that's all. My question would be if the system should be accessible for people with slightly below average perception or slightly below average reflexes. Only some more play testing will show whether I am part of a tiny minority, a large minority, a small majority or even a large majority. What I'm waiting to see is if the majority of the players can get the hang of the system.

Judging by lithos post, I'm going to hazard a guess that yes they will be able to. I base that on the fact that I know WoW is immensely popular and he says the two combat systems are comparable. But we will know in another two or three months.

Heres some help. I also give a simpler "combo". To be honest the combat does not change "that" much unless you want to choose to fight things that would have been impossible in the old system.

Edit: I repent about the combat system being too complex. It works pretty darn great. When I went against things that were actually a challenge whenever I feel behind in one aspect there were a lot ways I could "catch up" by exploiting the enemy not paying attention to other stats.
