I grinded clogs myself till I got hearth magic, then it was dream catchers till basic mechanics. Looms are both less destructive and better lp/stamina, I think.

Logged-in the other day and found half the trees, fruit-bearing or not, near my cabin cut down and made into boards.. I'd clear his local map of trees if I find out who he is.

yeah blocks in looms make a single tree go a lot further in LP.

I use just branches, actually. And just oak branches, at that (one oak = one loom), so I can be sure I have branches left for what I actually need. I guess you can't afford that luxury if you're in a large group, though.

Trees do not respawn. Also, since branches are limited now, each tree is a precious resource.

What is the obsession with Grinding? Why is everyone in such a hurry to click on things a lot? I say, just build a settlement. Cut a few trees, build a a cabin and make things you can actually use. Collect food. You won't get to the maximum level overnight, but you know what, it will be fun.
Surprise.

Cut them all down, increase the value of us tree farmers!

That works pretty well in a solo environment, but I've found with a large group around and a high level of specialization I've not had to do a lot of stuff that I would otherwise have done, this leaves me wanting to do things like hunting and foraging for crops, and at the early levels the only way to get past the barrier for entry to those pieces of content is to get LP.

If the dev's weren't being so tight with the wild wheat spawning then maybe I'd be spending more of my time farming >_<

Another good solution would be replacing the LP system, but I still haven't heard/thought of anything good to replace it with (maybe weyrd)

Lol, what? XD. Even when they're stumps? XDD. They changed that since reset? If so, that doesn't make any "survivalism" logic sense at all that trees wont grow back.

Trees have *never* respawned. Why, I remember back when we couldn't even plant them, people were paying an arm and a leg for a bucket.

i dont know why this is such a surprise. I already proposed to become forrester before reset, because we would run out of timber nearby before we would run out of stuff to build
