Anyway, I think it's a good idea to get a Russian in your village, to act as a diplomat and bridge the language gap.
And I don't see what's so strange about them trying to speak Russian with random people they meet, they're like half the playerbase so there's good odds that the other guy will be Russian too.

Yo mate im very happy for you and imma let you finish, but you should turn off your rosecolored glasses and accept that the reality is leading towards a WAR of the cultures. What you experienced is irrelevant, they were noobs, they needed guidance, they had no experience. Things have changed.
