You're more likely to come in contact with the bad apples because peaceful players tend to stick to themselves.

I found some pretty chill Russians fishing on a beach who gave me some fish and told me where to find mulberry trees.

Yo mate im very happy for you and imma let you finish, but you should turn off your rosecolored glasses and accept that the reality is leading towards a WAR of the cultures. What you experienced is irrelevant, they were noobs, they needed guidance, they had no experience. Things have changed.

Anyway, I think it's a good idea to get a Russian in your village, to act as a diplomat and bridge the language gap.

And I don't see what's so strange about them trying to speak Russian with random people they meet, they're like half the playerbase so there's good odds that the other guy will be Russian too.

Hmm. Maybe you have found our settlement? We are Russians, and there is eight h-lings in our camp. Are you that guy with claim near house, with apple trees and chickens on the other bank of the river?

No wonder 'history repeats itself'. It is so much easier to just do what we've done before than to make an effort to come up with a different approach.

Introduce some or other hostile NPC and all of a sudden everyone unites to fight them. Human nature... it can be embarresing at times.

I love the social simulation this game offers, fascinating.
