That's right.

This.

I suppose it's too late to say "drop it" considering the claim has already been extended (lesson learned) and Jorb has let me loose barely 10 minutes after the post/message, like a ghost.

I don't know who to feel more sorry for, the grieved for being grieved, the grievers for being idiots, or Jorb for maintenance...

you cannot build on unallied claims. therefore, you are incorrect by claiming that i am incorrect

Yes you can, with vandalism.

Have you personally tried this? Because I tried in the first map, and was unable.

We're having the same problem now, and i've claimed the area beyond the palisade too.

is so easy abuse of this game.
We know, in real life, we wakeup in the morning everyday to chop tons of trees so we can gain lp, and we build walls in 1 hour against other walls without risk because your neighbour is "offline!" ther's no problem. Our arms will never be tired, our waste of time is funny and we go back home at midnight to sleep peacefully. What kind daylife.

Who didn't do like this, in his life?
...of course, no one. Is simply Impossible, only some mad man whould do such things in real and he probably fail at first chance.

So, this is Abuse of the gameplay, and cut trees too. Call it like you want, ther's no way it could happen in real.

I agree. It hasn't much to do with social darwinism.

This could be (at least partially) fixed if they just made it such that you can't build on claimed land, vandalism skill or not. I'm okay with the idea of allowing destruction of property with the vandalism skill, but the (very easy and obvious) abuse by allowing construction has an obvious, if slightly blunt, fix. Then all one has to do is extend a claim to a water source and it's basically impossible to wall someone in.

Edit: of course, giving someone vandalism access to your claim would allow construction and destruction. This would only prevent construction on non-allowed claims.
