same with me. have here some drying racks from weeks ago. they are all on non-paved ground?

My first post :P

It might be good to implement "broken state" in which item is unusable for two days and then disappears (if not repaired).
Any thoughts on that?

well, most constructions do like this.
in some more steps, to be precisely.
they clolour from a slight yellow toa drak red... and vanish afterwards.
there are just a few constructuions that decay in one step (=vanish without warning)

A) Welcome to the forums
B) That should go in a different forum
C) Things can already be broken, though that is rather through use than anything else.

Have fun :P

Like a cupboard that is essential for us total beginners :P
Broken state seems as good compromise.. playing lottery with huge wooden cupboards or drying racks is kinda strange.

thats the price you have to pay for that big storage.
build a small house asap and store cupboards in it (if you want to store your old ones in it: empty them to be able to lift them)

(small) buildings and constructions decay with and without use. did you just use a plow the whole time you were playing?

maybe adding the feature that a broken cupboard's doors are wedged shut, and the hides (and maybe WWWs) are entangled in a broken drying frame. so you can not just grab the valuables and go but have to repair the cupboard and the frame first.
