My sincere apologies to those that used and appreciated the food chart. I enjoyed making it. I'm actually surprised there were that many that used it. I'm happy it was salvaged and continues to assist you under new caretakers.
I, however, will not be actively participating in the testing of the game anymore. I play (and test) games to enjoy myself, which I am no longer doing in this case. I hope it goes differently for the rest of you.
I debated whether or not to address JTG (since he claims he vandalized my place) and decided I should. JTG, I actually defended you previously for your actions because this is an alpha and game mechanisms should be tested by us and evaluated by the devs for what works and what doesn't. However, since you alone have 'tested' this side of the game profusely, as I'm sure others have, and almost everyone and the devs are aware of the shortcomings, what remains is simply you wandering around being a twat - not really testing or looking for gain, but just to cause grief because you can.
The greatest assets an online game can have are the players, especially those happy few that go above and beyond to enrich not only their experience, but experiences of their fellow players as well. Unfortunately, when things aren't right, these players are the first to go, leaving entire game-worlds wanting for their absence. Even fully released games are not safe from this - UO saw it, in a slow dwindling decline, and SWG saw it, in a swift exodus (though, for vastly different reasons). I'm sure you all can come up with other examples.
Anyways, I never really wanted this to turn into some statement post, so I'll shut up and quickly be forgotten. For those that get it, hopefully we'll run across each other in another world, and it will be glorious.
