He motions his companion to get down as he spotted the illumination and smoke of a hearthfire across the mountain. Both warriors go down on their belly and crawled through the low-lying floras. The nettles stinging his arm as their press upon the prickly plant as various foliage was catching on the string of the ranger bow o. The progress was slow...too slow...each moment was torture, fearing they will wake up, or be alerted to their presences should something goes wrong. Fortunate no one was wondering and the camp was silent.
Tenshi pointed towards the cliff along the mountain that overlooks the area. Slow progress was made towards the location with the leather plants constantly scratched from the jaggedness of the rock bits that littered the hard ground. All he saw was nothing but the dust and gray hardness of the mountain until they finally reached the cliff. There they were, the sleeping form of the raiders that had razed 5 cities so far. A grim expression etched upon facial feature.
"Get the sling out...but don't start shooting until I give the word." He reaches over to his ranger bow and nocks an arrow as his companion loaded up a sling, one of the best made in the land. He surveyed the situation. There was no way they can reach the raiders up close as their camp was fortified with a brick wall but that did not stop arrows from above. "OK go for the left one and then try to knock out the right when he awakens. On my mark...1...2...
3"
The warrior twirled his sling at an extreme high speed and sent a stone striking the chest of the sleeping raider, startling him awake from the pain. Tenshi released the arrow. It struck true. A cry of pain was hard as it pierces right through the thick layer of the vapntreiyu and plate armor and right into flesh...to the heart. The other raider sudden jolted awake from the noise only to be greeted by a stone that struck right between the eyes, promptly knocking him out. He was the lucky one. Tenshi sent his next arrow right towards the second raider's head. The impact was so harsh that part of the skull splitered outward as blood and bits of brain poured out of it as the arrow drove in. The result was not pretty. At least it was a painless death, unlike the first one that finally fell to the ground twitching. It was done.

"Come on. Let's go. The Deed is done." No other word was given, no announcement, no cheering, just a simple return to home. Perhaps this will calm the frontier a bit....however he has a bad feeling that this would be the calm before the storm.
(unfortunately if someone had read the latest, they would know the ending :/ )
