In the average forested 250 x 250 tile area (including a river running through the middle), there are approximately 700 trees. There are 400 such size areas on any given super-grid (a super-grid is 5000 x 5000 tiles).

If we assume this as a standard measure, that equates to 280,000 trees per super-grid.

If we assume that there are currently 49 super-grids in the world, then that equates to 13,720,000 trees.

It takes approximately 10 seconds to cut down a tree. That equates to 137,200,000 seconds; 38,111 hours; 1,588 days or 4.3 years non-stop to cut down all the trees in the world.

It will take 32 days of non-stop tree cutting in order to clear a single super-grid.

Have fun!

Maybe there's 32 supergrids worth of no trees? :P

I'm sorry but there's no way you're going to succeed in cutting down every single tree unless you keep going for years and years-
Oh wait, Jorb and Loftar would have probably reset the map a few times by then...
Anyhow, good luck!

The tree crusader was in our village and killed two two days old tiny harmless apple trees. Thank u crusader. And thank u for damaging our oven..... Thank you.... Thank you for damaging our kilt....

That was quite awesome.

I know where your camp is!

We live in fear from the day where you killed two tiny appletrees.

Thanks for putting that in perspective. This could be pretty funny.
Of course, let's assume that he gets several alts and is highly efficient at switching from one to the other and creating new ones as those die of exaustion, perhaps setting up some kind of script and monitoring that, he could increase his efficiency somewhat.

What would really be interesting would be to see a group of, oh, ten or twenty players, with two or three alts each, working in concert. They could make a serious dent in that number of trees in only a few months.
Surprise.
